THE Turning Tides Project held an Open Mic Night, at the Station Tea Rooms in Crediton on Friday, October 11.
Hosted by Sarah Meredith, it was a resounding success, adding to the growing number of such events in Crediton.
This event, promoted equal access to the arts, music and life.
"The Open mic night was a fantastic success," said Sarah Meredith. "It was wonderful to see so many talented artists come together and share their passion with the audience."
Musicians and poets from across the region, including Joshua Finn from Exeter and Zac from South Devon, took part,demonstrating the event's growing appeal.
Finn praised the event, saying, "Well done to all. A very good evening. Thanks for having me. I will definitely be back."
Zac from South Devon added, "A damn good time!"
The open mic night was a testament to the town's vibrant arts scene and provided a platform for local artists to showcase their talents.
"Thank you to all who attended our first Open Mic Night and made it a great success!" said Dan, one of the organisers. "We're excited to announce that we'll be hosting another one on December 6, also hosted by Sarah.
“We will also be hosting a DJ event headlined by DJReece on November 1.
Plenty of yummy spooky mocktails to be had.
