AN open garden, with a cream tea, was held on Sunday, July 7 at the Winswood, Crediton home and by kind permission of Mrs June Bilcock.

Committee member David Dornom reported that despite many competing events – not least being Emma Raducanu playing at Wimbledon, and with rather changeable weather, he said it was a delightful event enjoyed by those present.

The League of Friends started in 1993, when a small group of patients united with the objective of supplementing the services provided to the patients of the Surgery. 

Since then, thanks to a team of dedicated fundraisers spread through Crediton and the surrounding villages, thousands of pounds have been raised and spent improving services to the Crediton surgery patients.  

New members are invited to join and helpers are also often required.

Donations are also welcomed.
