ALTHOUGH it was dry underfoot there was a rather cold wind at the beginning of our walk from Shobrooke Park to proceed across the A3072, passing Haske with a steady climb towards Nomansland.

Carrying along the road we stopped to look over Crediton towards Dartmoor in the distance then making our way towards Heath Bridge the group followed a footpath across fields back to Haske and a return to the commencement of our walk.

Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am.

Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles.

Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.
