CREDITON Library and Sustainable Crediton are excited to have received a new fridge, which is a valuable addition to Crediton Community Food Larder.

The first delivery of refrigerated food was delivered by FairShare food distribution network at lunchtime on Friday, May 12 and included beef burgers, packs of ham, quiches, milk and dips - by 5pm there were only a few cartons of milk left.

The official launch of the fridge will take place at Crediton Library, tomorrow at 2pm on Friday, May 19.

Cllr Liz Brookes-Hocking has been asked to cut the ribbon and Dee Ross will give a speech on behalf of Sustainable Crediton.
