POLICE are appealing for witnesses after power tools and equipment worth more than £10,000 were stolen in a burglary in Winkleigh. 

A workshop on Eggesford Road was targeted overnight on Saturday, June 1 into Sunday, June 2. 

Entry to the premises was forced, police said. 

“Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone from the area or who was driving through the area around the time of the incident with any relevant information or footage which may assist the investigation,” a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said.
