THERE are numerous road closures/works being undertaken over the coming months in the Crediton and Sandford areas.

A road closure is planned to take place in the Pedlarspool Lane and Stonewall Lane area for the building of a roundabout before construction begins at Pedlarspool (Creedy Corner).

The work is expected to begin on April 16 and run until August 2 (anticipated).

The road closure will enable the construction of the roundabout.

Prior to this, an anticipated month-long road closure begins today, March 13, from Red Cross Hill to Exhibition Corner in the Pedlarspool Lane/Stonewall Lane area.

This work is to enable the installation of a new water main.

This order is in place until April 10.

The works are pre-works ahead of the building of the 257 homes at Bellway’s 2.7 acre site off Pedlarspool Lane/Stonewall Lane.

There are various other works planned to take place on Old Tiverton Road, some closures for a day and others longer.
