LEAVING the Crediton Railway Station car park members of the Crediton Walk and Talk group set off towards the golf course.
Several members were making use of the fine weather and negotiating this we followed the lane close by Hookway to start a short climb through the woods onto the golf course.
From here there is a fine view across the valley towards Raddon which soon disappeared as we made our way down over the golf course and railway to the A377.
We then headed back towards Crediton and a path eventually crossing over the link road and on to Tolley's with a return to the car park.
We are currently looking to recruit Volunteer Walk Leaders for the Crediton area. If you are interested and would like more information please contact Claire Ridge.
Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am.
Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby villages and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles but this does not include travelling times.
Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.
The next walk is on Friday, October 13.
