MILK Link, the farmer-owned dairy co-operative and cheese manufacturer, produced another strong set of results at the recent Royal Highland Show, being awarded the title of "Reserve Supreme Champion" for the Stilton produced at its Tuxford and Tebbutt Creamery.
Milk Link received a further 13 awards including the title of "Best Speciality Cheese" for Tuxford and Tebbutt's Stilton; a gold for Tuxford and Tebbutt in the Blue Cheese category; two golds for Taw Valley Creamery in the Mature Cheddar and the Traditional Mature Cheddar categories; silver for Tuxford and Tebbutt for its Blue Stilton; silver for Taw Valley Creamery's cheddar; silver for Lockerbie in the Half-Fat Cheese category; and both silver and bronze for Llandyrnog in the Mild Cheddar category.
Taw Valley Creamery was also a winner at the Cheshire County Show.
It received the gold prize in the Show President's Choice category.
