Mid Devon's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 6am November 15 2024 to 9pm January 7 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 26 to 28 contraflow, narrow lanes and 50mph speed limit. Southbound, traffic to travel in the hard shoulder and lane 1. Northbound, traffic to travel on the southbound, side, in lanes two and 3. For resurfacing works.
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
