Mid Devon's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 6am November 15 2024 to 9pm January 7 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 26 to 28 contraflow, narrow lanes and 50mph speed limit. Southbound, traffic to travel in the hard shoulder and lane 1. Northbound, traffic to travel on the southbound, side, in lanes two and 3. For resurfacing works.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm November 18 to 6am November 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 28 to 29,lane closures for surveys.

M5, from 8pm November 25 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to 26 carriageway closure for resurfacing works. Diversion via the B3181 and A38.
