THE League of Friends of Redlands surgery held a very successful Meat Bingo evening at the Crediton Football Club on Tuesday, June 20.

David Dornom from the league explained: "More than 50 players took part, swelling the funds considerably.

"These funds go to help with items to benefit the patients at the surgery."

The Annual General Meeting of the League will be held at the surgery at 6.30pm on Wednesday, June 28.

All are welcome to go along and hear what the League has achieved during the past year.

A further Meat Bingo evening has been arranged for September 20 and will be held at Crediton Football Club.

Doors open at 6.30pm with eyes down at 7.30pm.

There will be a coach trip to Cardiff on Tuesday, October 24.
