MEMBERS of Crediton Garden Club and friends provided a huge number and wide variety of plants for its sale outside Crediton Library on Saturday, May 20.
Business was good, funds raised raised went towards hire of the library where the club holds meetings from September to April.
The few surplus plants were donated to Age Concern for its garden at its centre on Deep Lane.
Talks for the new season of the Garden Club start again in September at 7pm at the Library on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are available beforehand. Check the "Courier" for details.
The first talk will be on Cyclamen in the garden by an expert grower from Dolton who opens her garden to the public.
The Garden Club is grateful to its members and friends who took plants and cakes for sale and what it hopes was a happy public who went to buy.
