THANK you so much to all who supported the St Lawrence Fayre on Saturday, August 10.
It was a beautiful afternoon weather wise, so advantage was taken with people sitting in the garden which was smelling and looking stunning, thanks to Jill for all her hard work. There were cakes galore, books and bric a brac, the Devon Hamper Draw was won by Maggie Jellis.
The total of £455 was collected towards the upkeep of this gem of a building, which is steeped in history.
A portion of the money will also be donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
On the Sunday Evening many enjoyed the old style Evensong along with West Gallery Quire.
The next service will be September 8 at 6pm, all welcome.
With history in mind, the Friends are organising a talk on the Chapel by historian Tony Gale, in the Autumn, so watch this space.
