A great Sunday Lunch at the Red Deer

SINCE January, when Andrew Mansfield took over as the new manager at the Red Deer, he and his team have been working hard to improve the quality of the food.

His wife, Emily has taken over as kitchen manager at the Marstons pub, which now offers "good food, cheaply," with table service.

Another improvement that Andrew has made is that customers can now book a table in advance.

Customers can choose from a large selection of "Two for One" meals from the Specials Board. Sunday lunch is proving very popular with diners.

Steak Nights are held on Tuesdays from 5pm, when two can dine for £20 with two steaks and a bottle of Harveys wine to share from the promotional menu. Curry Nights are held on Wednesdays from 5pm, offering a curry and drink for two for £12 from the promotional menu.

A table can be booked in advance on 01363 774248 or pop in to the Red Deer at Joseph Locke Way near the Crediton Tesco Store at Wellparks.

Outside there is ample space for diners in the beer garden.

Andrew plans to hold one charity event every month and is currently looking for local charities to support - one charity will be supported at a time, for a period of three to six months.

Regular Quiz Nights will begin on Monday, May 4, when 50% of any money made from the quiz will go to the chosen charity.
