KEY Stage 1 pupils at Copplestone Primary School were enchanted to have Naomi from Naturemake work with them for the day.
Naturemake arrived with many natural resources for children to create their own dwellings from their imaginations.
Year 2 focused on African huts and what we would require for a habitat; with all natural resources and some careful adult assistance with hot glue guns, the children’s finished huts exceeded their imaginations.
Year 1 then adapted these resources to create miniature fantasy dwellings as their dream fairy and elves homes. With creative family support the children took home their dwellings, amazed at their own creations.
The school thanks the wonderful parents, grandparents and carers who attended these learning together sessions to create an everlasting experience for the children and hope they are equally inspired to create with natural resources they find in their environment.
