UPDATE: The issue has been resolved and Redlands’ systems are back up and running.

REDLANDS Primary Care’s GP surgeries in Crediton and Thorverton cannot currently access patient records, dispense medication or make appointments due to a countywide IT outage.

The practices cannot use their clinical system or the internet.

“We are advised by the IT company commissioned by NHS Devon ICB to provide services to general practices in Devon, that there is a Devon-wide outage,” a spokesperson said.

“We apologise to our patient community. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
