MEMBERS of Hot Pins, Knit and Natter group, have donated blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, socks and last but not least, toys to help the people of Ukraine.
The group meets at Evans Newsagents in Crediton, in the haberdashery department once a month, wanted to help the people of Ukraine and decided to knit them a range of items.
The group has also knitted for a number of charities including Devon Air Ambulance, Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF), MIND and Age Concern Crediton and District, as well as The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The group previously knitted a number of poppies which were sold at Evans Newsagents in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and several members of the group have knitted teddies for Crediton Fire Station, which are given out to children who have been involved in fires.
