WE are happy to report that the last [CUT!] cleaning event in the war memorial area was most successful!
Thank you very much for all the volunteers who came and supported us! The cleaning streets work is very rewarding: you can see immediate results to your full satisfaction.
A good sign of [CUT!]’s growing popularity is that members of public started to contact us suggesting we look after some seriously overgrown areas of Crediton.
Crediton Town Council asked for help too as Crediton is going to take part in the Britain in Bloom competition in July.
So, we are going to adjust our June-July programme accordingly. Follow us on the Town Council [CUT!] webpage and on CTC Facebook.
Please don’t forget to come and support us this Saturday, June 15, from 3pm to 6pm. We are going to meet at the Park Street/ Spruce Park crossing, to clear weeds from kerbs etc on the steep approach to Spruce Park/ Butt Parks. We shall provide all necessary tools and protection, plus some drink and biscuits.
If you don’t have time to come to our cleaning events, please help Crediton by cleaning the street just next to your house: protect beautiful flowers but clear nasty weeds damaging your walls and pavements, as we do.
It will make a big difference and we can present Crediton in its best Bloom in July and at any time!
