A TALK on the “misfortunate women on the margins of Devon society” in history is coming up in Crediton.

Family and social historian Dr Janet Few will speak on the subject at the Boniface Centre from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Monday, March 10, during Women's History Month.

Dr Few has lectured across the English-speaking world and has written both fiction and non-fiction books.

Entry costs £2 for Crediton Area History and Museum Society (CAHMS) members and £5 for non-members. Membership is £15 a year. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in admission.

The Boniface Centre can be found next to Crediton Parish Church.

CAHMS hosts talks on the second Monday of each month from September to May.
