A QUILT made by a local sewing and knitting group is to be raffled in aid of FORCE Cancer Charity.
Yeoford Yarns sewed the 1.95-metre by 2.16-metre quilt in memory of surgeon Martin Cooper, who died in 2018.
Mr Cooper was Medical Director of the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust before he retired. He became a patron of FORCE in 2014.
Raffle tickets costing £2 each can be purchased at Crediton Friends of FORCE’s plant sale on Saturday, May 18.
The quilt will be on display at the sale, which takes place at 6 Waresfoot Drive in Crediton from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
You will also be able to buy raffle tickets at more upcoming Crediton Friends of FORCE events.
The winner of the raffle will be announced on November 1.
The Yeoford Yarns group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at Yeoford Village Hall.
