EXETER Cathedral Library contains medieval manuscripts, early printed books and modern published texts on a remarkable range of subjects including local history, theology, medicine, science and many more spanning the 10th to 21st centuries.

The Cathedral Librarian, Emma Laws, will talk to Bow and District Historical Society about the libraries curiosities on Monday, September 23.

It will take place at Bow Village Hall at 7pm for 7.30pm.

She is expected to cover the 10th-century manuscript known as the Exeter Book as well as examples from the thousands of other books and documents.

The talk is open to everyone - visitors £4, BDHS Annual Membership £15 and free to people under 18. Tea/coffee and biscuits are included.
