GEOFFREY COX MP for Torridge and West Devon is to hold a second presentation of veterans badges to former members of HM Armed Forces.

Over the past year he has invited local veterans to contact him if they have not yet received their veterans' badge and has contacted the Ministry of Defence on their behalf

The first presentation was in September. The second presentation will be held at the Royal Hotel, Bideford, on Friday, January 22.

The MP told the Courier: "I am delighted to be able to arrange for local veterans to receive their veterans' badge. We owe a great deal to our veterans and I hope this small gesture will demonstrate our appreciation to them."
