THERE is some good news in Crediton today, Wednesday, December 13, that the town’s former Wetherspoon pub is to re-open soon.

The General Sir Redvers Buller pub was closed on October 8 after it was sold by the pub chain.

Today contractors from InnServe, the drinks dispense service company, spent the day working at the venue.

This evening, the public house’s social media page announced: “Re-opening Soon! Food served all day, Sunday roasts, pool table and much more coming soon.”
