New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Mid Devon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 5: Al's Grill at Al'S Grill Commonmarsh Lane Lords Meadow Industrial Estate Crediton Devon; rated on July 25

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Rose & Crown at The Rose & Crown Calverleigh Tiverton Devon; rated on July 26

• Rated 5: Wyndham Arms at The Wyndham Arms Priest Hill Kentisbeare Cullompton Devon; rated on July 26

• Rated 5: The New Inn at Crediton Road Coleford Devon; rated on July 25
