A CREDITON girl has been presented with a Certificate of Congratulation after reading 250 books borrowed from Crediton Library.

Julia Moxey (8), a pupil at Hayward’s Primary School, talked about some of the books she has read through “The Secret Book Quest” scheme operated by Libraries Unlimited with Crediton Library staff.

Julia said her favourite books included “World of Norm” by Jonathan Meres, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” by Geoff Kinney and “Rainbow Fairies” by Daisy Meadows.

She received her Gold certificate from Crediton Library Supervisor Sue Lee.

Julia said she enjoys reading “all the time” and that she was now going for the 300 books certificate.

When she is not reading, Julia is a member of the 3rd Crediton Brownies and also enjoys swimming, martial arts and ballet.
