TWO girls from the 4th Crediton Brownies have achieved the highest awards they can achieve as Brownies, their Gold Awards.

Brown Owl Caroline Isaac, explained: "Anastazia and Isla completed six Theme Awards which consist of 180 minutes of Unit meeting activities, five skillsbuilder activities and at least one interest badge in each section.

"For the final challenge the girls organised a Hallowe'en meeting for the rest of the unit and found out what happens in Guides.

"Both Anastazia and Isla undertook some of this work at home during covid lockdowns but were determined to complete their awards."

The girls were presented with their badges, certificates, a balloon and a framed recognition award at a recent meeting.

Caroline added: "Well done Anastazia and Isla, your work was fantastic and you should be very proud of your achievements."

Both girls are moving to Guides in January.
