OFSTED has given Bow Bears Pre-School nothing but praise in its latest report, saying children “thrive” there and relationships between staff and children are “remarkable”.
The education watchdog inspected the early years provider, which caters for children between the ages of two and 11, at the end of October.
It said children settle quickly, enjoy choosing activities and share “exceptionally well” with each other.
Moreover, they show “extraordinary levels of independence and self-esteem" and children of different ages “happily play alongside each other”.
Ofsted described staff as speaking with “warmth and positivity” to the children, and staff knowledge of children is “clear in conversations they have with them”.
Staff make sure all children have opportunities to thrive, and “behaviour is exceptional”, the education watchdog added.
Staff also receive a “comprehensive induction programme” before they start working with children and “show pride and passion for the care they offer”.
Safeguarding arrangements at the pre-school are “effective”, Ofsted said, adding that there is “an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children's interests first”.
Bow Bears Pre-School's Chair of Trustees Erin Blake said: “I am delighted to share how proud we are of the recent Ofsted inspection outcome for our pre-school’s wraparound care.
“The inspection reflects the hard work, dedication, and passion of our staff in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for our children.
“The report highlights the commitment to quality care and education that ensures every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive.
“This outcome is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our entire community, and we are deeply grateful for the trust that families place in us.
“We will continue striving for excellence in providing care that meets the needs of our children and their families.”
