THE Okehampton branch of the u3a will host general election hustings tomorrow, Tuesday June 25.

The event will take place at 2.30pm in Fairplace Church, Fairplace Terrace, Okehampton, EX20 1DN.

“It’s a candidates’ debate and question time for the general election and all the candidates for our constituency should be present. 

“Lots of questions from the public have been received and it should be a lively affair.”

Central Devon covers Crediton, Okehampton and Ashburton. The candidates standing for election are Mel Stride for the Conservatives, Ollie Pearson for Labour, Mark Wooding for the Liberal Democrats, Gill Westcott for the Green Party, Jeffrey Leeks for Reform UK and independent Arthur Price.
