KEEN reader, Frank (8) was delighted to receive a certificate from library supervisor, Sue Lee, for reading 150 books on The Secret Book Quest challenge at Crediton Library.
Library supervisor, Sue Lee said: “We have really enjoyed listening to Frank talk about the books he has read.
“He is very keen and has already started on his next goal of reading 200 books on the challenge.”
The Secret Book Quest is a reading challenge which involves reading a set number of books to collect all the stickers, decipher the code, and win a special prize.
Frank was the first to reach the 100 mark in the challenge and is now the first to reach the 150 mark.
He enjoys reading books from the “Forbidden Classroom” series by Tony Bradman as well as graphic novels. He also enjoyed reading Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”.
Frank is a pupil at Landscore Primary School where his favourite subject is maths.
In his spare time Frank enjoys playing football with Crediton U8s and he also enjoys playing cricket.
