New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Mid Devon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Globe Inn at Globe Inn 14 - 16 Lower Town Sampford Peverell Tiverton Devon; rated on May 10

• Rated 5: Ponte Vecchio at Ponte Vecchio 33 - 35 Bampton Street Tiverton Devon; rated on May 9

• Rated 5: The Great British Takeaway and Restaurant at The Great British Takeaway And Restaurant West-Exe South Tiverton Devon; rated on May 9

• Rated 5: Lost Kitchen at The Long Barn Chettiscombe Tiverton Devon; rated on May 3

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 1: Tiverton Golf Club at Post Hill Tiverton Devon; rated on April 19
