FIVE girls from Fourth Crediton Brownies, who are all pupils at Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton, set themselves a challenge to raise some money to help St Petrock’s homeless charity after Gill Luckings from the charity visited the Brownies as part of badge work they were completing last term.

The girls made cakes and decorations, selling them after school just before Christmas. They raised an amazing £117.25 which they presented to Gill when she revisited the unit last week.

Martha Robbins, Sofia Frisby, Primrose Everitt, Martha Brotherton and Elsie Baker were all presented with a special fundraiser badge by Gill.
