SINCE taking over Stewart Price Opticians, Crediton six month ago, Adam Jones has been busy building up his customer base.

Adam previously worked at the West of England Eye Department, Exeter and has a special interest in retinal conditions and paediatrics.

Adam, who has been qualified for 12 years also has another practice, St Marychurch Eye Clinic in Torquay.

His aim is to work solely in Crediton, where he is assisted by opticians, Rachel Margieson and Liz Sullivan.

Whilst in Crediton he has continued with the Read Easy system for children with dyslexia providing them with coloured tints in their glasses.

He uses a range of products at the opticians including Essilor, Varilux and Transitions.

Customers can choose from a range of frames from basic NHS frames through to designer frames from Versarchi, Reykjavik, Farhi, Ripcurl and Schott.

As an independent optician Adam can provide frames he doesn’t normally stock and has catalogues for customers to choice from, and is happy to order frames on approval.

He also has a selection of contact lenses and offers new fits, soft daily and monthly, hard lenses, regular check ups and solutions.

Also available are low vision aids such as a standard lamp with a built in magnifying glass.

One day a week the opticians premises are used for audiology care by hearing care provider Amplifon of Exeter. For more information telephone 01392 347602.
