AN event encouraging wellbeing called “An Inspirational Family Day” is set to be held in Sandford. 

It will take place on Saturday, June 22 at Sandford Millenium Green from 11am to 5pm. 

The day will feature talks, workshops, local food, crafting, live music and more. 

A spokesperson said: “The event is designed to show us how the quality of nature is essential to our wellbeing. This is an opportunity to get inspired and to take some easy steps towards a more enjoyable, healthy and thriving lifestyle. 

“Activities, talks and demonstrations include natural health practices, therapies, meditation and mindfulness, dancing and singing, exercise, lifestyle choices, coaching and mental health support... rural skills and craft workshops in beautiful and everyday essential items. 

“There will be a wonderful variety of known and unknown local musicians throughout the day.” 

Entry costs £3 per adult. Children go free. 

Proceeds from the day will go towards the upkeep and improvement of Sandford Millennium Green.
