THE cast of CODS “The Men who Marched Away” are back rehearsing and tickets are now on sale for the award winning musical commemorating the people of Crediton during World War One.

The musical had to be postponed before Christmas but is now proceeding with two new cast members.

Many local families had members who went to the front to fight in the trenches and the people left behind could only imagine what they were enduring, but they got on with their lives as best as they could.

Sadly many of those who went did not return and gave their lives for their country.

This production grew out of a desire to commemorate the ending of the First World War.

It will take place in Crediton Congregational Church from February 13 to 15.
