A TALK on protecting hedgehogs is to be held in Crediton.
Organised by the Mid Devon Wildlife Warden Scheme, it is described as “an event to learn about hedgehogs and launch a community campaign to support the declining local hedgehog populations by encouraging simple, nature-friendly actions.”
It will take place at the Boniface Centre from 7pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, May 22.
A spokesperson said: “You are invited to a community event where we will provide the residents of Crediton (and surrounds) an opportunity to get together, to learn and to enjoy some stories of hedgehogs and gain inspiration for how we can all easily play our part to protect this iconic British species that urgently needs our help.”
Entry is free. You can book your ticket online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/help-for-hedgehogs-crediton-tickets-890604139957.
The Boniface Centre can be found next to Crediton Parish Church.
