A CHANCE to meet an award-winning investigative journalist and author is coming up in Crediton.
Holly Watt will be signing copies of and talking about her latest crime thriller novel The Last Truths We Told in conversation with Alison Sweatman on Thursday, January 23 at 7pm.
The book is described as “compulsive and claustrophobic, drawing you into a world of suspense and intrigue where every character feels strikingly authentic”.
The story “unfolds against the haunting backdrop of Dartmoor, with its twisting tin mines and its centuries-old houses that hold buried secrets”.
Ms Watt is a former winner of the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger award and has won several awards, the most prominent of which were for her work on the “Panama Papers” and MPs’ expenses scandal at the Daily Telegraph.
Tickets cost £4. They will be redeemable against a book purchased on the evening.
