THIS year’s Sandford School Strawberry Fair is set to take place in the village.
Entry is free to the event, which will be held in the school’s field on Saturday, July 6 from 2pm to 4.30pm.
Run by the Friends of Sandford School, there will be lots for all the family to enjoy.
Games on offer include ball-in-a-bucket, hook-a-duck, wet-the-rector, teddy-tombola, a days-out board with lots of days out to various attractions in Devon to be won, nerf guns and welly-wanging.
There will be face-painting and tattoos available and a chance to win the grand raffle, alongside an opportunity to see some baby lambs, vintage tractors and a collection of “old agricultural bits and bobs”.
Attendees will be able to enjoy the event’s famous strawberry cream teas, and there will also be an ice cream van, a picnic area and a bar with Sandford Orchards cider.
All are welcome to go along to the local community fundraiser for Sandford School.
