OVER the past two years many, many loads of clothes, medical items, bedding, utensils and more have been given for the people of Ukraine and Moldova, through Bow Gospel Chapel.
Another load was collected on the last Monday morning in January. Goods can be delivered at any of the coffee mornings held between 10-11am on the second and fourth Tuesday or Thursday of each month.
“Donations are always being made, people move house and such,” said Ian. “There have been donations of medical masks and first aid things, tablets such as Paracetamol or Aspirin about to go out of date, duvets, or even pet foods, collars or leads.”
Ian added: “Sometimes we have a request for specific items such as when we needed candles. People are amazing, we have a lady in her 90s who loves knitting and supplies us with wonderful knitted goods such as gloves, hats and other clothes.
“There is still a great need for good quality bedding, adult and children’s clothing, toys for all ages, medical supplies – painkillers, dressings etc. “People have been so generous in previous collections, but the need is still great. Any donation, large or small, will be much appreciated.
“All goods received will be taken to the Exmouth warehouse of CR2EE Charity, where it will be sorted and packaged ready for the next shipment.”
