COPPLESTONE Primary and Pre-School is delighted to announce that the school has recently been judged “good” by Ofsted.
Inspectors from Ofsted visited the school in July and in the recently-published report said: “Pupils say that the school is like a happy family.”
The school has undergone many changes in recent years and the Headteacher, Alison Mackey, says it is now a happy, vibrant and caring school, where pupils enjoy learning.
She explained: “We are very proud of the recent inspection results.
“This reflects the continued hard work and dedication of all our amazing staff, right through the pandemic and beyond.
“Our children are enthusiastic, enquiring and curious learners who enjoy school.
“The inspectors were so impressed by the conduct and behaviour of all the pupils they met over the two days. This is a well deserved result for the whole school community and a wonderful way to start the new school year.”
The final report will soon be on the Ofsted website for all to see.
Alison added: “Places are available in all year groups and anyone wishing to have a tour of the school is welcome to call the school office on 01363 84265.”
