FOR 32 years David White had been chairman of the Friends of Crediton Church.  He retired at the Friends’ annual meeting, when he was thanked and received a small presentation.

Peter Bunn was elected as the new chairman.   

About 30 members attended the meeting when it was reported that the Friends had provided some 18 grants to the Parish Church, totalling more than £16,000.

It was said that the generous legacy of Penny Little would be a great asset and members remembered Penny and others who had died. 

Grants of £11,000 were agreed for 2023 to-date.   Marilyn Daw was re-elected as secretary, Mike Beskeen as treasurer and membership.   The executive committee was re-elected enbloc with the addition of David Owen.
