FARMERS from Bondleigh are to appear in court over causing ‘a statutory nuisance’ on their dairy farm.

James and Kelly Seabridge, of Bidbeare Barton Farm – formerly Penson Farm – are being taken to court over complaints about smells, noise and a build up of effluent on the farm..

An enforcement order to ‘abate or prohibit a statutory nuisance’ on the premises is being sought under the Environmental Protection Act 1990

A court hearing date has been set for October 23 at Exeter Magistrates’ Court.
