WITH all the festive celebrations around Christmas time, driving safely becomes more important than ever, especially the danger of drinking and driving.
With this objective in mind, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Road Safety Crews from North Devon, working in partnership with the Police, will be talking to members of the public about how to stay safe.
The crews will have the Road Traffic Collision reduction.
This displays road safety clips from a pop up TV screen from the boot of a vehicle.
As well as the drunk driving campaign, messages will also include keeping speeds down, driving in winter weather conditions, always wearing seatbelts and not using your mobile telephone while driving.
Crews will also be asking everyone to ensure that any animals travelling in your car are secured safely.
Events will take place at:
Hatherleigh Market on Tuesday, December 15; Mole Valley Farmers and Waitrose, Holsworthy, on Wednesday morning, December 16; Mole Valley Farmers, South Molton, Friday morning, December 18; Chulmleigh Town Hall, Saturday morning, December 19.
