ON Sunday, October 25, June Chudley led 11 members of Creedy Walkers on a walk using local footpaths, in Crediton,

The sunny autumn day saw the walk start at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, then via Tin Pot Lane to Salmonhutch and back to Fordton, following the River Yeo.

From there they walked to Downes Crediton Golf Club and to Hookway, where lunch was taken.

There was a newly cut down tree which provided seats for everyone.

After lunch they returned to the leisure centre, via the Hookway road and over Downes bridge and the new bridge over the link road.
