FRIDAY, March 31 saw a small group of Crediton Walk and Talk walkers brave the wind and rain to venture out from the Leisure Centre to wind our way to Creedy Bridge and head along the road towards Lower Creedy, passing some lambs in an adjacent field sheltering from the rain against a shed wall observing us go past.
From Lower Creedy we followed the road down and across the Creedy in full spate and by this time the rain had eased for our return back via Creedy Lake and Old Tiverton Road.
Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am and the next walk is on Friday, April 14.
Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles.
Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.
