"WE’VE been working very hard and having a great time," says Crediton Singers musical director Tim Matthews.
"No Summer break for us. Most of our Singers wanted to sing every Monday. Who am I to stop them?!"
All this effort has been directed towards a concert, this Sunday, September 8, from 5pm, at the Elephant on the Green, Crediton.
"We're raising money for Hospiscare. It's in desperate need of funds so we're hoping to raise a goodly amount for them this time," says Tim.

The choir, now 10 years old, has raised thousands for local charities, and is a community group in every way.
"No auditions. No barriers to entry. Everyone welcome to join us."
And, for this concert, a very wide range of music is on offer, from pop to classical to gospel. Not to mention some beautiful piano music for extra variety.
"It's free admission, too," adds Tim, "and we'd love to see as many locals there as possible."
