CREDITON Branch of the Royal British Legion has announced the following times and dates for the Remembrance period.
It says that wreaths and boxes for collection will be available from Le-Roy’s, High Street, Crediton, from tomorrow, Friday, October 27.
On Saturday, October 28, the Garden of Remembrance dedication will take place at 11am, everyone to assemble at 10.50am.
This will take place at Crediton Parish Church Main Gate.
On Saturday, November 11, Armistice Day will be remembered at Crediton Town and Hamlets War Memorial at 11am, everyone to assemble at 10.50am.
On Remembrance Sunday, November 12, there will be the Service at Crediton Parish Church at 10am. Everyone to be present by 9.50am.
Afterwards everyone to move to the Crediton Town and Hamlets War Memorial except for the cadets who will march.
Road closures will be in operation and motorists are advised to take note.
