YEAR four children at Hayward’s Primary School have taken part in an interactive Easter-themed workshop at Crediton Parish Church.
Licensed Lay Minister Antonia Tregenza and a team of volunteers led the “Experience Easter” event on Friday, March 21.
Pupils moved around Holy Cross Church in groups and enjoyed interactive sessions focusing on different aspects of the Easter story and the ideas, feelings and emotions associated with them.

“The day offered a unique opportunity for the children to think about the Christian story of Easter and for them to consider their own world views,” teacher Hannah Down of Hayward’s Primary School said.
The Easter story focuses on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians celebrate Easter every year in spring.
