ON Monday, November 20, Crediton Police officers retrieved a moped from the River Uton at Salmonhutch, Crediton, following information from members of the public.

The moped had been stolen during the previous week, police confirmed, adding that the owner was pleased to have it returned.

If anyone has any information about who stole the motorbike, they are asked to please contact the police on the 101 number, quoting crime reference CR/099748/17.
