CREDITON Playscheme was presented with a cheque for £500 after the money was raised at a couple of local events.

Nigel Burd, Bailiff of Shobrooke Lakes, organised a charity fishing match and Darren Fox, branch manager of Crediton Jewson, held a raffle for customers.

Crediton Playscheme is a local charity that provides fun, educational and social bonding opportunities to children with additional needs from Crediton and the surrounding area, at the same time, providing respite for their families.
