MID Devon District Council has announced that it has today, Wednesday, July 31, taken the new cantilever swing out of action in Newcombes Meadow park in Crediton.

It says: “Due to slight movement of the upright, the seat as been removed and concrete added to reinforce the base.

“The seat will be re-installed, and the swing made operational from next week to allow the base to set.”
